From Sin's Bondage to Salvation's Grace
In freedom's light, with Christ we find our way, But first, in sin's dark chains, we must obey. Our sins, they sting, like shackles on our hand, The law's stern whip, on our backs, does land. The law, a taskmaster, drives us to Christ's grace, True freedom blooms when we seek His embrace. Before we're free from sin's relentless snare, Like Israel in Egypt, we must groan in prayer. We toil in life's struggles, like bricks and pots, Before we rise like doves with silvery spots. Through muck and mire, we tread the tough terrain, To reach the heights of freedom from sin's chain. In the miry pit, we cry for a helping hand, God's mercy lifts us from the sinking sand. Like Jonah, in darkness, we're wrapped in despair, Before we find deliverance from sin's snare.
