 Accepting the Truth Through Prayer

With words of wisdom, I implore

Let the truth be at your core

But accepting it can be a chore

May God guide you to your core


Undoing what's been done, is a hard feat

Time, patience, discipline, all in receipt

It's not easy, I do concede

But God's help is all we need


Pray for strength, pray for grace

For God to change our heart's place

Only He can fill the empty space

And grant us a brand-new face


So when the truth is hard to swallow

And our hearts feel hollow

Let's turn to God and follow

And in His love, we'll wallow


May we find peace in His embrace

And may He grant us His grace

To accept truth and keep the pace

And in His love, find our rightful place.
