The Son: Radiance of the Father's Glory



The Son, radiance of the Father's glory,

Eternally shining forth in majesty.

Exact imprint of His being, the story

Of His wondrous nature, for all to see.


The Father's pleasure eternally rests

Upon the Son, His Word and image true.

Loved before the world, in Him is blessed

All creation, brought forth by His virtue.


At His baptism and transfiguration,

The Father's voice declared His great delight,

His pleasure in the Son, the purest elation,

For in Him is found all wisdom and might.


Through the Son, all things were created,

And through Him, all will be redeemed and saved.

His birth, death, and resurrection celebrated,

As we honor the Son, and His name engraved.


In the Father's sending, the Son's preeminence,

To be acclaimed as Lord, to His glory immense.
